Cryptid Hunters by Rolland Smith Book Review

Plot: Grace and Marty, 13 year old twins, are forced to live with an uncle that they had never met after their parents go missing during a helicopter crash. Turns out their uncle, whose name is Travis Wolfe, is a cryptozoologist or a study of cryptids, mysterious creatures whose existence has never been proven. Grace and Marty get whisked away into an adventure in the African Congo: The race to find the last dinosaur on earth.

 Review: I am a 12 year old and I love this book. It has so much adventure, excitement, and plot twists. My younger brother (Age 10) loves the book as well and is the reason I started reading it. I love how as you are reading the book you never know what is going  to happen next. I also love how Rolland Smith keeps the book appropriate. Whenever one of the characters swears, he just wrote "He Swore."

This set is great! I give it 10 out of 10 stars. I give it a building difficulty level of 7 out of 10. Any lego fan or Hobbit fan would love this set. It has a lot of great features and is overall a great set.

The Portland Aerial Tram

During My holiday travels this week I went on The Portland Aerial Tram (Link to their website here).

It is a very cool ride that takes you above Portland, Oregon. Here are some pictures:

Minecraft PE 0.8.0 is Out!

As you all know I am a huge fan of the game minecraft. I am very excited for the new minecraft PE update 0.8.0.

The update has added:

Beets, carrots, and potatoes

Breeding

Minecarts, rails, and powered rails

A new inventory

Cobblestone walls

Iron bars

Plus Much, Much more

If you haven't updated your minecraft game yet you definitely should.

New Nintendo 2DS and Wii Mini

Nintendo has recently launched two new products: Nintendo 2DS and Wii  Mini.

Nintendo 2DS:

The Nintendo 2DS costs $129.99 at the Nintendo Website. You can get it here. The 2DS can play all the 3DS games, just without the 3D. Just like all the other DSes, the 2DS has two screens, a touch screen (bottom of device) and a regular screen (top of device). One big difference between the 2DS and its family is the 2DS' shape. Here is a picture that demonstrates that difference.

The Nintendo 2DS is pretty much a cheaper way to play 3DS games (just without the 3D).

Now to the Wii Mini...

Wii Mini:

The Wii Mini costs $99.99 at the Nintendo Store. You can get it here.

The Wii Mini is a smaller version of the original Wii that sits on it's back. It can play all the Wii games, but sadly can not play game-cube games, and can not access the internet. Of course that is what you get for only paying $99.99. The Wii Mini also comes with the Mario Cart Wii game. Overall the Wii Mini is good bang for your buck because it can play Wii games and is very cheap.

Soda Can Robot

My Robot

I have recently put together the Soda can rubug kit. It is a robot that you put together with a recycled soda can and parts from the kit. Once you have put it together you can turn it on and it will vibrate across the floor. Here is a video of the robot in motion:
